Christ University pioneers in collaborating with Script Peoples Theatre to give hands-on experience in using theatre tools effectively.

Three certificate courses are offered under this collaboration with the option of being part of a regular performing team.

Script Peoples Theatre

Script Peoples Theatre (SPT) is a company which has evolved over the past 13 years through performances, training, stage related activity, educational programs etc. Over the past decade it has trained thousands of students, apart from facilitating teacher-training programs in theatre. SPT creates modules according to specific needs of institutions/ corporates/ organizations using the exceedingly powerful experiential methodology of theatre. This is the only theatre group in the country to be affiliated to the International Playback Theatre Network (IPTN) that is spread across 50 countries. At present the company apart from doing PBT training and performances also runs the Theatre-in-Education (TIE) program that has reached over 85 institutions. SPT is instrumental in introducing new theatre forms like Corporate Theatre, DREAMatics, and MALL Theatre.
